This means that for company code LA02, a required legacy data transfer segment has not yet been created. As a result, the system cannot proceed with uploading or posting asset legacy data—whether manually (e.g., using AS91) or through automated tools like LTMC or the Data Migration Cockpit.
Resolution Steps:
1. Define Transfer Date and Additional Parameters

SPRO → Financial Accounting → Asset Accounting → Asset Data Transfer → Specify Transfer Date/Last Closed Fiscal Year
1.1 Click on 'Change mode'.
1.2 Enter the following values:

| Legacy Data Transfer Status: | In Preparation |
| Document Type: | UE |
3. Maintain General Settings.
| Company Code Status. | Production. |
4. Save the Settings.
Save your entries and ensure there are no inconsistencies.
The transfer segment is now created and the system is ready for legacy data upload.
